A 3½ Hour Grief Ritual and Workshop

In this three-and-a-half hour workshop, we will gather around the sacred altar of grief in order to remember the wisdom that lives in our bodies. Within a song-filled sacred container, we will practice a variety of modalities of grief tending including Francis Weller's Five Gates of Grief, Open Sentences and Writing Threads, Embodied Presence and Skillful Holding, and Song and Ritual.

Join Michael Denmeade, co-Lead Teacher for PGI's purpose programs, for a conversation about what it means to live life as ceremony. How do we bring ritual into our everyday lives? How do we mark the thresholds we find ourselves at? Michael brings decades of experience in sacred ceremonial practice and a grounded, practical approach to weaving ceremony into daily life. For those who feel called, we will close with a simple threshold crossing. All are welcome.
